We usually recommend a child age/weight limit of about three years or thirty pounds. For as long as you'd pick up a child and carry them on your hip, you can use the sling to help support their weight. Of course, you're usually not carrying them around for a long time, though! And we recommend that you do check the sling often for tears and pulls, especially when you're routinely carrying older/heavier children.

NOTE: There is no need to purchase anything additional with a Maya Wrap. We sell sling rings separately for people who are sewing their own sling. The Maya Wrap comes complete as shown, for $48.

Use the following measurements as a guideline, but remember that an unpadded sling will allow you to draw up the tail more tightly, allowing a greater variety of sizes to wear the same sling. Small: Up to 5'2" Medium: 5'3" - 5'9" Large: 5'9" and up.
